Listen to the Purple Inspiration Podcast

Today, I talked with Mary Knox — a true badass in California law enforcement and a lifelong champion for crime victims.

With over 40 years as a prosecutor in Contra Costa County, Mary has taken on violent repeat offenders while building intervention programs for youth and leading Get Vocal for Victims, which provides pro bono legal support to those who need it most.

Mary currently serves as Chair of the One-Hundred Club of Contra Costa County, a non-profit organization that provides immediate financial support for the spouses and children of police officers and firefighters who lose their lives as a direct result of physical injuries sustained in Contra Costa County in the line of duty.

Mary believes in law and order and is exemplary at what she does. Check it out.
